"Very pleasantly surprised by all aspects of the hotel. Very clean, the pool was quiet, everything was working, the jacuzzi nice and "strong", the steam room nice and hot with a eucalyptus scent. The changing room was very tidy and clean. We will be back"

"dirty room, had someone’s dirty laundry, shower and toilets all stained with brown and yellow stains, door hanger flung off as we walked in, all surfaces dirty, dead bugs at windowsill, bedsheets stained with black stuff. so dirty and poor communication, left after 30 minutes and got no refund whatsoever. also no lock on bathroom door, one of the beds was broken, plug socket broken"

"Good comfortable bed and spacious room/suite. Staff friendly and tried to be helpful. Not so good, allocated wrong room type, corrected when raised with the hotel. Correct room had very obvious damage which no attempt had been made to repair, when raised was told no other rooms available with an apology."

Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. "Breakfast was ok, staff really good friendly and helpful but the property leaves a lot to be desired. Very dated and in real need of modernisation. We booked a room with a 4 poster bed then on arrival were told we had a free upgrade to a 4 poster room.... Strange seeing as that's what we requested anyway. Room was at best ok. The bed was pretty wobbly. Ceiling in the room was a false ceiling of tiles like you would find in an office and there have clearly been several leaks coming through from...
