Spacious as compared to standard European hotel rooms. Helpful staff and pretty good selection at breakfast buffet. Renovation going on and sometimes hammering and sawing sound can be heard. There are three elevators but waiting time is relatively long. Overall, good value for the price.

Everything about the hotel is perfect. Only issue we had was the fact that we had 3 rooms booked but only 2 was ready for when we arrived. We waited two and half hours for our room to be ready but in all it was worth the wait.

This property is quite modern, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and good bathrooms. The bar is relaxed and looks out over the dock. All in a very good place to stay and within a very short walk of th Centraal Station.

Great place but is a bit far from attractions but there is a bike rental across from it. I stayed at the 4th floor which was quiet but they are doing some renovations that I could hear after 8:30AM but overall good experience.

Walking distance to Central Station which is excellent and convenient for walking into town. Good views of the river and although didn’t eat here we did have drinks and bar area in restaurant was lovely. Downside, the lifts are slow and stairs out of action due to remodelling work going on so waiting for lifts in such a big hotel for a considerable time is not a good use of anyones time. Perhaps invest in upgrading the lift systems is something they need to think about. Also the door to enter, they are using the wheelchair accessible door which swings out but i was not aware of this and was not alerted by the doorman so it swung directly into my right temple, it was a painful experience so a warning on the door in different languages would be helpful.

The most impressive thing they did was upgrade is to a suite room much bigger than we expected. Everything was fine except you can’t turn off the lights on the periphery of the room near the windows. So if you want a blackout so you can rest very well, it’s not happening. But the rooms are great, comfortable, spacious…

Hôtel en pleine rénovation ! Très dérangeant pour les clients qui n’ont pas de hall-Lounge pour se relaxer. Sans compter le bruit et les ascenseurs qui fonctionnent très mal. En 4 nuits, notre chambre à été faite 1 fois …. Et le petit déjeuner ne mérite en rien ce tarif de 25€!

The hotel is beautiful and is in renovation. So it will be better. Room furnishing is basic but good enough. Elevators were used by construction crews which wa every inconvenient. The hotel is not close enough to the city center and public transportation is a decent walk

The hotel was under construction, which we knew. The check-in staff was amazing. We liked being close to Central Station as we took the tram lot.

There is a fancy faucet in the bathroom which is difficult to operate and one would easily got burned by the hot water if one does not turn in the right direction. Also, the drainage systems didn’t work very well resulting in a pool of water on the floor while we took the shower. We were expecting such an expensive hotel to provide slippers for our stay but they were not available. Also, even though the hotel is situated in the seafront, there are no seaview for all the 3 rooms we lived, mind you that our rooms were located in 2 opposite directions and it is supposed that at least one of our rooms should have seaview.All in all, this hotel is too pricey and doesn’t value for the price we paid.

Hotel itself is nice and in a good area convenient for central station and the old town. We checked in quite late, staff not overly helpful, took ages - by the time we were checked in the bar was shut. We were told 3 different closing times by various staff. Next night, weren’t allowed to sit in the bar as a private function was on. Never had that before in a hotel I’ve stayed at. Didn’t eat there, dinner menu limited and expensive, breakfast didn’t look that great either for €25! Bit of a refurb happening while we were there but we knew about that - after we’d booked it! Didn’t really cause any problems to us though. Rooms were lovely, nice and spacious, same as the bathroom. The bed was soooo comfortable, best I’ve slept in for a long time. Check out staff were great, couldn’t have been more accommodating.

The only things that i liked about this hotel is very near to everything. The hotel is noisy because of the construction (which i understand)but not in the early morning. The room is not clean enough you can see dust in the window. One more things they need to change the curtains whichis not long enough.. you can see the light come in and you woke up at 6am or even before. The check in tooks so long because of a lot poeple and no seeting in the lobby (it was only 2 chair).

Lovely hotel located not too far from centraal st which can get you anywhere in Amsterdam. Place was very clean, staff friendly and room had a lovely view too. Will definitely come back

The staff at the hotel were great! Super helpful and helping us with train and other tickets. The hotel was clean has a restaurant and bar and is a quick walk from the train station. A little bit of a walk from the hotel to the main plaza Amsterdam, but conveniently located close to the Jordaan which is a wonderful neighborhood to walk.

Hotel was lovely. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. It was only a short walk into the centre of Amsterdam and was very close to the train station. The only problem we had was that there was building work being conducted during our stay, which meant that there was drilling and banging from early in the morning. We were warned about this during our check in and were given a 12pm check out on our departure day. We would stay here again though.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Central Station. Nice area, quiet at night, spacious room and we had a nice view of the river. The receptionist was very accommodating during our check-in (I forgot the name but the lady with red hair), showing us the places through a map that would interest us. They had a free drink voucher. They didn't provide free bottled water though and bottled water in the central is quite expensive like £3. I wish they had a smart TV though but overall it was a great stay!

The property is in the harbor area and was next to our Viking Cruise dock. It was short distance to Amsterdam Central rail station. Safe surroundings. The hotel is presently in renovation and the entry was not memorable. Room was ok...a little dated but beddings is nice.

Hotel lobby area is under construction but that isn’t disclosed before arrival. Room fit & finish was not great. Staff allowed 2 guests to cut in front of me to check their luggage. I waited 20 minutes for a server to take my lunch order but they never came. I gave up and left and ate off property. Bar would not serve mixed drinks because their only skilled bar tender called out. Extremely mediocre experience here. My stay at the Kimpton DeWitt on the other side of town was 11 out of 10, by comparison.

The hotel is undergoing renovations so be prepared for some noise during the day, but the convenience and hospitable staff makes up for it. The restaurant is also a major plus!

Good stay, slightly out of the centre (a 20 min walk max) but nice and quiet. Great double twin rooms so ideal is sharing with a friend.

Check in was poor, room was changed without my consent and was told ‘that’s what it is’ and whilst an additional bed was added (should have been a twin room) this was a basic fold bed and no refund/discount was offered
