Great staff and food

Great food at a low price! The staff are all warm and welcoming especially waiter Marcel who was friendly, polite and knowledgeable! The hotel room was very small, the pillows were terrible, we ran out of loo roll in the second day! There were only enough toiletries for one person and the iron didn't take a single crease out of my clothes! The room was quiet except for the hour when the church chimed! Parking is like a max 7 minutes walk so don't pay for it! We were advised it was 15-20 minutes walk away!

Muy linda vista

Me encantó el lugar, hay muchos mosquitos, pero muy linda vista al lago. La comida es buena :). Un poco alejado del transporte, pero lo recomiendo

Fantastic service, Marcell was super helpful. Room was perfect and our children enjoyed the bunk beds. There is a walk to the bus stop (about 20 mins) and 1 bus followed by a tram to reach the city. It is a very idyllic setting and peaceful after a day in the city.

Hyggeligt hotel

Hyggelig gammel kro rene værelser, men utætte vinduer og dårlig komfort på toilet.og nogen kro larm på værelset. Ikke egnet for gangbesværede.

Hotel bien situé, cadre magnifique

Hotel proche du centre-ville en voiture, personnel très sympathique. Cet hôtel est parfait pour couper avec le bruit du centre-ville. Endroit magnifique et tranquille avec vue sur le lac. Les chambres sont à thème. J'ai eu la chambre capitaine Haddock. Très bien fait. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Koselig lite hotell med veldig fine rom!

Veldig koselig å fint lite hotell som jeg ble veldig poitivt overasket over. Fine rom med fine møbler og rent og pent! Anbefales!

Lovely situated next to the water . Small rooms but fit for purpose.The only minus is that the personell could be a bit more helpful.

En general es muy buena opcion por la cercania con Ansterdam, lo comodo, cercania con super mercado y cercania a estacion bus y tren Lo malo es que segun el hotel no Incluye Jason ni shampoo para el sari diario; tambien nos cobraron 60 euros por proportionate sabanas lo cual es un basics pero segun ellos no esta incluido, eso lo estamos aun peleando

Great location if you are driving or biking

We were looking for a hotel that could accommodate 2 adults and two children. Amsterdam Village was by far the most reasonable, but we were a bit skeptical due to a couple of bad reviews. We are so glad we took a chance and booked it anyway. There are so many pluses I need to get the negatives out of the way first. Negatives: It is not within walking distance of public transportation. Positives: What a great location, in a small village on the water with great views all around! All rooms of the hotel face a side street so it is very quiet. A very nice served breakfast was included featuring eggs, ham, bacon, cheese, yogurt, bread and jam. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. The staff was courteous and professional. The price was well below comparable hotels. The room was not huge but comfortably fit 2 adults in a queen bed and 2 children in a "castle" bunk bed (not all rooms are equipped for 4. The room we had was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was spacious. Our room had an enclosed shower, not sure if they offer rooms with tubs. There are three semi-private entrances each allowing access to only 4 rooms. There is a free public parking lot located about 300 feet behind the hotel. There is also a semi-secure hotel lot in about the same location which has a per day charge. A park and ride tram station is located just 5 minutes from the hotel by car.

Erg leuk hotel en erg aardige mensen

Een punt van aandacht is voor de mensen , het hotel had keurig een extra briefje op de deur gedaan , maar wij vrouwen hadden niet door als je het licht uit deed , er geen stroom was op de kamer . |

Trivelig, rent, rustikk, landlig - men nært nok

Veldig hyggelig lite hotell utenfor sentrumsområdet i Amsterdam. Vi hadde det flott (familie på 4), veldig god service og god mat på "Den gamle taverne". Det er litt langt fra byen og buss går ikke helt frem i helgene. Taxi var ca 27 EUR til sentrum, ellers anbefales IAmsterdam kort til buss/trikk/tog. Kortet varer i opp til 72 timer og gir gratis adgang til museer, vitensenter, etc.

Beautiful place to stay in a lovely village. Would highly reccommend . Hotel was very clean and the service was excellent .

City-trip met een bijzondere uitvalsbasis

Lang weekend Amsterdam met de kinderen: NEMO, rondvaart, Sunday Market, etc, etc. En dan helemaal speciaal met verblijf in de Oude Taveerne langs de dijk met de oude Zuiderzee, ook dat is Amsterdam!

que no se le ocurra s nadie ir ahí!!!!

Nos han fastidiado de tal manera que no me lo podía creer. Cogimos la habitación y nos fuimos de compras. Dejamos la llave en la recepción y cuando volvimos a las 20.30 no había nadie en la recepción! Resultado? Dormimos en otro hotel, perdimos nuestro vuelo por no poder acceder y coger las cosas y el siguiente día nos han dicho que es nuestro problema. Que teníamos que haber leído la política del hotel. Una auténtica m... Qué rabia. Encima nos cobraron otros 15€ por parking que nunca usamos. Y dicen ser 4 estrellas... Increíble. Pensaba que era cámara oculta pero no. Tan malos son de verdad. Y la cadena al quejarme en un correo que tienen en su página ni responden. Tremendo. Eso si. Si queréis a fastidiar alguien, pero bien, mandarlo ahí. Que no fallaran.
