Not a good place Not good service- bad really bad
This hotel is a dump. I was given a room my first night with a hole in the wall not even patched or covered simply just there, right next to my bed stand. Then I decided to pull the covers and the mattress was ripped, in really bad condition and it seemed like bugs were coming out of it- a rotten mattress (nice one). Tha bathroom looked dingy and run down and the cabinet/closet in room 202 smells awful, dirty for what it seemed like three centuries worth of dust, just awful. I was moved to a better room after I called booking because when I called the reception the manager (shameless person) didn’t seem to care of my issues with the room, very dismissive. Then the internet, this really did it for me, I was disconnected in a foreign country, single female traveler for three whole days. I had to go outside and find someone to let me borrow their hotspot so my family could know I was okay. The golden temple is beautiful but please DO NOT stay in this hotel. I asked for some kind of refund for all of my troubles, after all I paid $30 per night- that’s a lot of money for a hotel in India, nope the manager didn’t care and just said I seemed to be the only person with internet problems.. yea for the entire stay, sure I was. It is safe to say I would NEVER stay here again and hopefully booking does right by me and reimbursed at least one night of my stay.

Good location, food & service provided.
Great experience staying at this hotel right from airport pick up, comfortable stay, food is good. Transport to travel around is also available.

Disappointing
This hotel is in a bad shape. Pictures shown doesn’t gives the right picture. Not managed in a professional manner. Location of this hotel is perfect for pilgrims of Golden temple. It needs complete revamp and fresh look for management.

Very close to Golden Temple
I just used the rooms to sleep in as i was out in Amritsar all day. This hotel is very basic and a bit tatty, the rooms are nothing like the pictures BUT it was very clean, comfortable and the staff were impeccable, every need was met with a smile, fir the price and location, u really cannot go wrong. Saleem was really exceptional though and had a great sense of humor

Otel konum olarak çok iyi durumda. Geçen yıl da bu otelde kalmıştık o zaman da inşaat çalışması vardı bu yıl da devam ediyor sanırım uzun yıllar daha devam edecek. Vifi çok sorunlu odalarda hiç çekmiyor.Resepsiyondakiler asık suratlı ama çalışan elemanlar çok cana yakın ve güler yüzlü.Fiyat bu kalitede bir otel için çok yüksek,tek avantajı Altın tapınaga çok yakın oluşu.

Nice hotel close to golden temple
Staff was very supportive and pleasant.. Internet was unreliable in room. Room cleanliness was poor as ceiling flakes were dropping on table everyday. They did offer to change room but after unpacking it was too much work. Room should not at that state in first place.

hotel staff is very accomodating. rooms were ok. wifi wasnt very reliable. lunch was very good and value for money. had a bad time with dust from all the construction around. our rooms were only ready close to 5pm!!!

Great location..
The staff upgraded our booking to a super deluxe room and it was a pleasant surprise. Staff is extremely helpful and the location is the best as it is just within some steps to the Golden Temple!!

It was convenient to visit the Golden Temple. Very close. They did not include breakfast in the room tariff.we had to Rs 150 for breakfast each person which was not good at all. No cut fruit or juice no toast butter! Where foreigners visit every day Puri Aloo noodles. When you are charging why not add some fruit?

V Nice & Comfortable Hotel close to Golden Temple
Small Hotel but Very Comfortable and Courteous Staff--- Veruy Ideally located to the Golden Temple as its in the Adjoining compound so its a 1 minute walk to the Golden Temple

Worst hotel ever. Room, wifi and food-Disasters
Sheets were dirty. It gave me a rash on my face. Wifi was out of order for the whole time. And, breakfast was possibly the worst I have had at any hotel ever. There is so many better hotels and so much good food around in Amritsar. Totally spoilt my trip. Don't stay here at all.

Hotel next to Golden temple
I will not be carrying any good memories with me. I had to change my room twice in three days stay. Taps are leaking. one has to hold the shower head directing to you otherwise water hits the wall. No batteries in the remote.You can't change the channels. I had to go to reception in the middle of night to get the remote changed. I had checked in late night.Rooms was stinking. Got the room changed next day. here also taps were leaking and other things were slightly better. Hotel has construction going on in upper floors with a result room had dust everywhere. Accommodation not worth the charges.

ゴールデンテンプルに近いと云う事で決めました。その通り数分で行ける距離にありました。観光地の為安心して散策出来る所でした。部屋はすぐ裏がリキシャの溜まり場らしく騒音と排気ガスの匂いがキツく、部屋の交換をお願いして快く移動して貰いました。

I stayed in this hotel a few years ago and the the level of service and cleanliness has decreased quite a bit.

Terrible experience
One of the worst experience so far in a hotel that claims to have international standards. Rude staff no courtesy at all. Hopeless food , on ordering a grilled sandwich we get bread toast stuffed with thick pieces of cucumber and tomatoes. No hygiene and standard maintained . Today when we all have LED at our home this hotel still had big TV which was not working at all and even after complaining of the same no one bothered to check. Utterly poor and pathetic services. They should ideally change the name from international hotel to CJ LODGE. Billing was done incorrect topping it all. Imagine the state of hotel and the style of working . Poor poor and poor hospitality and standard.

Overall a nice place to be
Rooms allotted were fair enough in size. Even though the cleanness were there but still kitchen & room service timing was just "Ok". However food was good enough as required.Staff was supportive Overall a nice place to be.

Nice location
Very very good location if you want to head toward the golden temple, but you have to keep in mind that the rooms are not that pretty and there are no real area where to meet other travellers in the hotel.

Overall needs a big improvement in services
1. The stay was ok. Very near to Golden Temple. Better if they give tariff rates for trips through Cabs. The rates given are arbitrary. No proper logic provided. 2. Closet water keeps on flushing and does not stop. 3. Food when ordered from Restaurant comes from outside hotels and not cooked in the CJ international.

Hotel on ne peut plus sale, installation électrique douteuse ( boîtiers électrique détachés du mur). Pas de bouteille d'eau comme partout en Indé mais de l'eau mise à disposition dans un Thermos crasseux. Pas de serviette pour les mains, pas de tapis de sol dans la salle de bain, climatisation bruyante a. Moins d'1 mètre du lit et d'une saleté reboutante. Personnel peu aimable et petit déjeuner minimum (on choisit entre le beurre ou la confiture...mais pas les 2). Bref pitoyable à tout point de vue

Hôtel très bien situé pour aller au Temple d'Or (à 5 mn à pied). Chambre confortable mais propreté médiocre. Pas de bouilloire électrique dans la chambre comme annoncé. Pas de réponse à une demande de navette de l'aéroport.

The Hotel room was small but was ok for two.
Location of the Hotel is most appropriate if you are visiting only the Golden Temple. ours was a short trip .We could visit the temple even late in the evening. Low tariff makes it value for money proposition

Disappointed
I have stayed in this hotel in 2010, 2013 and this time from 14th to 16 April 2015. To my dismay, the condition of this hotel has deterioted very badly. wow, bathroom leaking, and the hotel is looking so shabby in the interior. I was very disappointed and I dont think I will take this hotel again when I come next no doubt it is the walking distance to the Harminder Sahib is just less than 5 minutes away.

Right next to Golden Temple
Good experience. Hotel staff was good and prompt. I had my train for New Delhi around 5 PM. Hotel was courteous to extend my stay for some more time and they also offered free locker room facility to keep my luggage for sometime.

Could have been so much better!
Firstly, The hotel was a nightmare to get to in a car. When we got there, we had requested a room where there were no steps as my mother cannot walk. They could not provide this so we had to pay extra to upgrade to another room. The electric socket to make tea did not work in the room. There was no hot water coming out and was only dripping out. No one came to fix these. Room service was a bit slow and we didn't get what we ordered - however, the food received was nice. On the plus side, The room was clean, the staff were friendly, they provided my mother with a wheel chair, the upgraded room had a nice view.

Well positioned hotel
Hotel is literally seconds from Harmandir Sahib which makes it ideal if the focus of your trip is to spend time there. Initial room I was given had a very small bathroom with some water leaks, on complaining the following day was moved to a larger and cleaner one. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and it's easy to find someone who speaks English. By Amritsar standards an OK hotel

For two nights it was OK. It is so near to Golden
Access to the hotel was not easy due to construction going on. For short visit it is OK and service is very good. Staff very cordial and helpful. Bedroom was reasonably OK as compared to the cleanliness of the city. Available food is once again manageable if you do not want to eat outside. Hope after construction front will be better.

Comfortable Stay
Short 1 night stay at CJ helped us visit thr golden temple twice as its a few steps away from the darbaar. The hotel was very cozy and comfortable and surprised us with good food and immediate endless services at our calls

The reception desk attendant needs to be more courteous. The room bed size is too big for the room size, there is less space to open/close wardrobe. Lot of work is going on in the surroundings and the scene was not very pleasant at this time although the hotel has great location close to Durbar Sahib.

PRABHU at Amritsar
I Could stay near the temple so can have multiple visit to the temple. Near to the Market but Surrounding is not clean. Approach by CAR was Banned during day time was the biggest problem.
