"We stayed at The Barfield for the first time this past Sunday night to break up our drive from Dallas to Angel Fire, NM and really enjoyed the comfort and style of this beautiful hotel. All of the staff we encountered were wonderful and the room is very modern and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we are considering staying there on our way back."
"Our room was so quiet; I never heard anything and I am a light sleeper. As others have stated, breakfast was the best! No issues parking and we were in and out several times."

"Easy access from US 44. Minimal traffic noise. Short distance from restaurants. Inside access to room. Actually had more space and same amenities in room as more expensive hotels, just not as fancy.
Breakfast variety of bread, cereal, apples, juice, coffee, make your own waffles, yogurt. No eggs or meat. "
