"Beach front ? 29 minute walk - sea view - in the restaurant - relaxing ? Not for a moment. I booked on beach front and beach access and it’s nothing like. I especially emailed to confirm beach front ….. it’s on a cliff - it’s not very clean and there is no room service and I never once found hot water in the taps - In short not what I booked (and for that I blame Expedia ) and not nice enough to go again. "We didn’t want to stay in a big hotel chain, neither did we want to stay in beach shacks or risk an unknown place. Casa Colvale was a great discovery based on Trip Advisor reviews.

"This hotel was a wonderful hotel in its time. They have not maintained it. However, and the bathroom needs to be completely redone. The water heating system is a problem. Their towels and their linen is not hygienic and really old. I do like this property, but they really have to do it up service, the bathrooms and get new linen and towels."

"The most heavenly hotel, a real treat! Delightful, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful facilities and a very quiet location. We had breakfast included in our stay which was definitely worth it, the masala dosa were a firm favourite!
The pool is lovely and the hotel has transport to take you to the beach, towels are provided for both so don’t worry about bringing your own."

"Siolim is charming and full of history. This area and North Goa were our favourite. The room was lovely and very clean but the exterior of the property and pool area need upkeep and maintenance. There are also good food options nearby and the breakfast was simple but very good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!"
