great alternative to hotel rooms

This is a wonderful new and very clean apt that sleeps 5 with 3 bedrooms. Bath is only one and small but doable. Location is near shops and restaurants in walking distance. We had upstairs apartment which would only be a problem if you can’t carry bags.

Warning! This is a small basement apartment.

This unit did not look anything like the photos. It is a very cramped basement apartment. Although it was fixed up nicely, two people cannot move about at the same time and the ceiling is very low. It was a nice location to town. Hard to rate service as we never spoke to anyone. All communication was by email.

Beautiful room, great stay

We only spent a night there and we wish we could stay longer. The room was very clean and well decorated. They have all the amenities you would need including laundry machines. We had no issue checking in as the instruction was very clear.

Comfy and Cozy

This place was a great place to stay! It had a lot of room, and the couch was very comfortable. The kitchen is big and has a stove and oven, which was very nice! The only complaint is that the room only had a washer, but no dryer. So, we had to hang our clothes on a towel dryer in the bathroom. It wasn't perfect, but it worked. Other than that, this place was great!

Great apartment near the center of Akureyri

Very nice apartment with all the necessary amenities. Clean and tidy. Great location. Good instructions on how to get into the unit. Bed was very comfortable. It would have been helpful if there were instructions left for washing and drying clothes, because the apartment description said washer/dryer, but it turns out it was just a washing machine; though the hot towel rack did dry the clothes very quickly, it could not accommodate the same amount of clothes that we actually had in the washer. It would also be great to have a list of the grocery stores nearby, especially at the 24 hour grocery store that was in town 😊 In general, I would stay there again.

Convenient location as right next to city centre. though the bedrooms are a bit small, the sitting room is spacious and cosy. The apartment is decorated beautifully. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked breakfast there.

Good location

The lower level apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and close to everything including the harbour. The only issue I had was the security keybox system. The inside box has a big security issue that needs to be resolved.
