It was difficult to check in - no response when phone number was called. Eventually got assistance from another person. Wifi was not working On the plus side - clean, chalet style room. Comfortable beds and good shower. Lodge was in a quiet location in the centre of the village

The room was nice and the location very convenient, but we booked this motel because it had a pool and the pool was out of service (and looked like it had been for a while) and we saw no evidence that anyone was sorting it out.

This is our third stay. We have previously had the Queen rooms. This room (22) had a very rough surface across the pool yard to drag our wheeled cases. The bd was a little firm but otherwise the room was ok.

We stayed in a family room with 1qs bed and 1 single bed. Squeezy but sufficient space to walk between beds and door (just). Bathroom very small and dated but clean. There was a tiny kitchenette but we didn't use it so can't comment on functionality but did have microwave and kettle. Need to use bathroom tap to fill kettle.

Staff did not seem to care when I reported a cockroach crawling on the floor as soon as we entered our room. At the en of our phone conversation, the reception person had not hung up the phone and I overheard her colleagues say “what a nightmare I was” … they did not really apologise or even offer any compensation for our consideration. Overall a very bad experience.
