Very corrupt staff. They stole my money and refused to give it back. The front desk employees are very unprofessional and rude! The manager should consider dismissing the front desk employees and hire properly trained individuals! Very disappointed to say the least!

De flyttade på möbler, renoverade så jag inte fick sova. De förnekade det och försökte få mig att tro att jag inbillade mig. Det blev mystiskt bättre varje gång jag ringde och klagade. De spelade fult spel. Grannen hörde det med. Så till slut tog jag till hjälp av Hotel.com och då lovade hotelket att de skulke flytta på mig till annan våning. De ljög. Detta förstörde två semesterdagar. Annars var personalen supertrevliga.

The initial room I was given was not clean and the AC wasn’t working, which is a must for Accra due to the heat and humidity. I then moved to another room which was must nicer, had a shower, and a functioning AC.

Check-in staff were polite and helpful. Checked me in though I arrived early but that was the best part of my stay. Changed room 3 times in 1st night 1st room - severe damp smell and faulty ac 2nd room - water leaking from ac vent 3rd room - finally ok but ac tending to trip off but too tired to complain again. Restaurant staff practically shooed me out because it was 3:30pm and the restaurant was closed for lunch. Bear in mind I was already eating. Restaurant was blah

Disappointing stay

I had to arrive 1 day late in Accra, on 18 June instead of 17 June, due to my first flight arriving late in Lisbon where I was to take the connecting flight to Accra. This was an occurrence that was clearly out of my control and I requested Hotels.com to request a refund for one night from the Swiss Spirit Hotel & Suites Alisa. Hotels.com was very responsive and immediately contacted the hotel and advised me in writing that the Swiss Spirit rejected the request. I then contacted the hotel myself and was told that they cannot accept my request for a refund--full stop. This is extremely disappointing and not in line with Customer Satisfaction oriented policies one expects from these types of establishments; particularly when hot water in the shower was only available in the second day that I stayed there; only bath towels were provided with no hand towel available in the bathroom; wi-fi was weak in the room, with connection lost frequently until very late in the night, and I had to pay 90.6 for a room per night, without breakfast!

As far as accommodations is was pretty good. It was a good value for the money. Look at deals on Expedia the rates are much better than what you are told if you walk into the hotel. The hotel was a bit dated but clean . Restaurant was ok and so was breakfast. Staff was accommodating especially breakfast hostess and Teresa. We had a mishap with room type and they more than compensated for the mishap. Would probably stay again.

This location is well kept. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Room service was delivered in a timely manner. The air conditioner in the room leaked water on the floor but the problem was reported and taken care of right away. Internet worked well, lobby area is nice and inviting.

This hotel is absolutely not worth the cost. Its a bit aged and needs some updating. The shower water never heated up, I only got lukewarm water showers. The best part of my stay was the tennis court and the incredibly helpful staff at the court.
