"This hotel was located close to the monasteries with great view of it. The staff were all very friendly. Parking was a bit of an issue. Luckily there weren’t that many guests during my stay. The room was small but felt like an actual hotel. The shower head couldn’t stay still and kept falling. Other than that, great hotel. "

"This hotel has a great view of the mountains from the balcony. The room is on the small side but everything worked. No USB ports. Bathroom shower glass is small so it’s easy to get the bathroom floor quite wet. There is no toilet paper holder so the roll just sits on the toilet tank which got a bit wet. Free parking across the street. Staff is helpful. Buffet breakfast is inexpensive and very ordinary. "

"Beautiful location with views of the Meteora rocks. Close to hiking trails to monasteries. Owners were beyond belief and did our laundry for 20E. Paid for breakfast but well worth it. Great restaurant up the street - Meteron Panorama (try the steppe cow steak and smoked black pig). Worth spending 2 nights after hiking 11 miles."

"We accidentally booked on the wrong week and only discovered it when we arrived. Between them and hotels.com everything was taken care of and we were housed that night. The breakfast is a decadent arrangement of small plates. Felt like a Greek version of a British tea party. Perfect place to stay"

"Guesthouse Arsenis was amazing! I visited during the "off season", but the weather was still beautiful. The location could not have been better. It was a two minute drive into town and amazingly close to the monasteries. The view from my room and the dining area was gorgeous. Checking in was super simple and I had a chance to talk to the owner and his mother (who were both very, very kind!). The house and land have been in their family for generations and they have clearly taken very good care...

"The location was great-we were able to start our hikes to the monasteries right from the hotel without dealing with parking nightmares. Check in was not done in person. You needed to follow instructions from the owner to put code in to get a key. Was a bit complicated especially since we arrived when it was getting dark. I prefer having an in person introduction to the room. The room was clean and the beds comfy but it was very dark. One of the lamps did not have a bulb in it. They took care of...
