"This is a traditional Japanese hotel with futon mattresses on the floor for your bed. No shoes permitted. It is older but I found the place charming especially after I found the fabulous hot tub spa rooms where clothing was prohibited ( woman’s separate from mens) Next time I would definitely get the rooms facing mount fuji with their own private spas. I did not care for the breakfast included which was very authentic with fish and seaweed and a bunch of weird food. But fun to try once. We really had a good time seeing mount Fuji from the roof top deck. The deck needs some tender loving care. The staff spoke minimal English but were very nice. "

"I loved this hotel. It has a shuttle from the Kawaguchicko Station. It was so convenient the restaurants and not far from the lake. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious!"

"Quite old hotel but charming, with nice views. We stayed in a tatami room and the futon beds were very comfortable! We also benefited from the free shuttle service of the hotel to Kawaguchiko station. Only downside might be the location as there isn’t much around especially at night.Shoutout to the kind, senior gentleman (which I believe was the owner) for helping us contact JR East regarding our lost phone and being so helpful in finding it out. Massive thank you!"

"The hotel was a bit difficult to find and access at first, but once inside, it was very clean, spacious, and located in a nice area. The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was on point. However, the outdoor onsen didn’t appear very clean, so I didn’t use it. The biggest disappointment was the view of Mount Fuji. I booked this hotel expecting an unobstructed view based on the photos, but the view was restricted and not as advertised. Overall, it’s a decent and very clean hotel with great staff, but the lack of the promised Mount Fuji view was a letdown."
