What you can expect

  • Be picked up from your accommodation in Yogyakarta and embark on a day-long visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Borobudur and Prambanan Temples. Enhance your experience by opting for a temple guide and inclusive entry fees.

Explore the single largest Buddhist structure on earth. This is one of the world's greatest ancient monuments. Explore the temple's structure and ascend the temple and be awestruck by the panoramic views from the top. As the world's largest Buddhist temple, Borobudur is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Encounter 504 life-sized Buddha statues, each carved from a single stone.

After immersing yourself in the wonders of Borobudur, continue to Prambanan Temple. Visit one of the most beautiful Hindu temples, Prambanan. Built in the tenth century, this is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. See the three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma) and the animals who serve them. Admire the grandeur of Prambanan's towering structures, adorned with intricate carvings that depict legendary tales.

Once you have completed your day trip, sit back and relax while your driver takes you back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.
