If you’re looking for something completely different on Skadar Lake – this is it.
We’re not going where everyone else goes. This tour takes you through the lake’s hidden side, quiet, wild, and a bit magical. We’ll cruise through narrow canals surrounded by tall reeds and trees, with water lilies all around. It feels like a little piece of the Amazon right here in Montenegro.
It’s one of those places where you don’t know what’s around the next bend — maybe a bird taking off from the water, maybe a monastery on a faraway island, maybe just total silence and nature all around. And that’s the best part – it keeps surprising you.
Your guide speaks English and knows these waters like the back of their hand. They’ll point out birds, little details you’d never notice, and tell you a few fun stories along the way. We’ll stop at some of the cleanest, clearest rivers that flow into the lake — and yes, we always make time for a swim. It’s unbelievably refreshing.
Cold drinks are included, and there’s plenty to see: birds, island churches, endless lily fields, quiet little riverbanks. This isn’t about rushing — it’s about soaking it all in.
So if you want to see a side of the lake most people miss, come with us. It’s peaceful, wild, and something you won’t forget.
