This tour takes an Afrocentric perspective and aims to show visitors the contribution of African people to the founding of the Cape Verdean nation, which gave rise to its culture, skin colours, dance, and even the Krioulo dialect spoken today in Cape Verde.

We will pick you up at your hotel and drive for 20 minutes by car to the old city, founded by Africans and Europeans. Today, it is considered a World Heritage Site due to its importance in the slave trade, which fuelled the discovery of the New World.

After learning about its history and visiting the main monuments that remain in the ancient city, we will bring you back to your accommodation.
