Casablanca

Our trip begins in Casablanca, the economic capital of the kingdom and second largest city in Africa, it is the heart of business and industry in Morocco. Its coast of Aïn Diab has beautiful swimming pools; cafes, restaurants, private clubs and hotels… A very active coast. A guided tour will take us outside the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the second largest mosque in the world.

Rabat

Continuation to the capital of the kingdom, RABAT which has always been a flagship city with the ruins of Chellah, an ancient Roman city, with numerous monuments dating from the 13th century. The Hassan Tower (which should have been one of the largest mosques in the Muslim world). Then, we will take a trip to the Kasbah des Oudayas and the Mausoleum of King Mohamed V, architect of Morocco's independence in 1956. This mausoleum is a true jewel of Moroccan architectural art. The late King of Morocco, Hassan II, and his brother Prince Mulay Abdellah, are also buried there. Rabat is today a modern city, a garden city which houses the Royal Palace, embassies, Parliament and ministries.

Tetouan

Departure for TETOUAN via KENITRA. the city of the "white pigeon" and the centre of Andalusian Morocco, passionately nicknamed by locals "The daughter of Granada". Visit Guersa Kebira Square, one of the city's many lively souks. Then we stop at the Medina, one of the most fascinating in the country and today listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will also see the superb Royal Palace, a fine example of Hispano-Moorish architecture.

Tangier

Visit to Tangier, the mythical city, which has charmed many artists. Then we walk to reach Cape Spartel. Some highlights: the Grand and Petit Socco, the two main squares of the city full of activity, the Kasbah located on the side of the hill with a view of the port, and divided into very steep streets, Dar El Makhzen: ancient palace with its fantastic architecture, which is now considered a museum of Moroccan art. Then visit the caves of Hercules and departure for Asilah, it is today a city of artists and home to many galleries. Be sure to visit the old Portuguese town dating from the 15th century.

Chefchaouen

We will visit the beautiful city of Chefchaouen, known as the "blue city", located in the high Rif mountains, this city was founded in 1471 by Moorish exiles from Spain. “Chefchaouen a haven of peace and tranquility”. The main square is the heart of Chefchaouen, with the Kasbah (built in the 18th century), the central mosque and cafes with authentic menus.

Fes

Today you will travel to Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco and one of the most important cultural centers in the Islamic world. Spend the day exploring the fascinating Fez Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world. Highlights include: Al-Qarawiyyin University, one of the oldest universities in the world Bou Inania Madrasa, a beautiful Islamic school The famous Chouara Tannery, where leather is still processed using traditional techniques The colourful souks of Fez, where artisans craft pottery, carpets, brassware, and textiles Enjoy lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant before continuing the exploration of this extraordinary city.
