When you arrive at Cala Saona, one of Formentera's most iconic coves, we'll welcome you at our beachside activity centre. Just a 2-minute walk away, you'll find a free car park, ideal for those arriving by car or motorcycle.
This cove is perfect for stand-up paddleboarding thanks to its crystal-clear, usually calm waters and its large, shallow, buoyed-off area, which ensures a safe activity, especially for families with children or those with no prior experience.
After a short briefing on use and safety, you'll receive the necessary gear (board, paddle, and life jacket) and can start paddling at your own pace, exploring the nearby cliffs and discovering the famous sea caves in the area. There, if you wish, you can go snorkelling and marvel at the crystal-clear water and the marine life.
And if you choose to do the activity in the afternoon, you'll have the chance to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in Formentera, with the sun dipping below the horizon and the magical silhouette of Es Vedrà in the background.
