  • My name is Brendan, I am an American who provides group tours in English of Saint-Malo. From Celts to pirates, tales of treasure, dramatic WW2 battles, All the Light We Cannot See, and world-changing trade and exploration, my tour gives couples, families, and small groups an experience that will make Saint-Malo one of your favourite French cities.

    My guided walking tour is a unique opportunity to understand the significance of key landmarks and hidden treasures that make Saint-Malo a must-visit destination. It’s also a chance to learn about what it’s like living in the Saint-Malo area as an American husband and father. Each person will leave the tour with a post card made by my wife, a local artist whose works can be found in shops along the Brittany coast.

    I’m also happy to share my recommendation for the culture and cuisine Saint-Malo has to offer during your trip. A private tour with me is having a knowledgeable, passionate local as your personal consultant to make the most of your time in the city.

    I offer private tours and public ticketed tours. The private tour is 2 hours long and the public ticketed tour is 1.5 hours.
