We’ll begin the tour with a pickup in Ollantaytambo and head to the impressive archaeological complex of Moray, known for its circular terraces that served as an agricultural experimentation centre during the Inca era. We’ll continue to the famous Maras Salt Mines, where we’ll see hundreds of salt pools that have been mined using traditional methods since pre-Inca times, while enjoying spectacular views of the valley. We will then head to Chinchero, considered one of the most traditional villages in the Sacred Valley. We will visit its main square, the colonial church built on ancient Inca walls, and a textile interpretation centre where we will learn about ancestral weaving and natural dyeing techniques. At the end of the visit, we will return to Ollantaytambo, concluding our services.
