Mt. Fuji 5th Station (Yoshida Trail) – The Gateway to the Sacred Peak Located at an elevation of around 2,300 metres, Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station (Yoshida Trail) is not only a starting point for climbers but also a stunning scenic spot for regular visitors. Here, you’ll find panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, souvenir shops, small shrines, and cosy rest areas—making it an ideal place to enjoy Mt. Fuji without hiking to the summit. Access & Toll Information: • By car: Access is via the Fuji Subaru Line, a scenic toll road leading up to the 5th Station. • Toll fee: ¥2,100 return for standard vehicles. • Note: During the official climbing season (typically July 1 to early September), private vehicles are not allowed. Visitors must park at the base (e.g., Fuji Hokuroku Parking Lot – ¥1,000) and take a shuttle bus to the 5th Station.
