What you can expect

You will visit three magical towns in the southern basin of Lake Atitlán

The first magical town to visit is San Juan La Laguna, it is a very colourful town with its streets that reflects the local culture where you will learn about the work of women, especially about Mayan textiles, the function of bees and the importance of cocoa for the mayans.

The places to visit are:

-Xocolatl chocolate factory
-Street of umbrellas
-Weaving House
-Mayan Bee World
-Hat Street

The second town to visit is San Pedro La Laguna, in this town you will especially visit its craft street where you will stop en route to rest.

The third town to visit is Santiago Atitlán, a town with Mayan culture where religious syncretism is especially practised.

-Artisan market
-Brotherhood of the Holy Cross and Rilaj Maam (Maximon)
-Santiago Apóstol Church and Convent
-Atitlán painting workshop
