The square has several buildings that have been designated as a national monument, including the Boterwaag, the Sint-Stevenpoortje and various residential buildings with a shop. And great bars and restaurants!
Molenstraat (Pass by)
The Molenstraat is the nicest square in Nijmegen and offers numerous pubs and bars. There is plenty to do all year round.
Sint Stevenskerkhof 62 (Pass by)
Church from 1243, restored after bombing, with an 18th-century organ & a tower for city views.
Koningsplein (Pass by)
The Koningsplein is a cosy location in the heart of Nijmegen. With the various types of shops, it is pleasant shopping between the terraces.
Valkhof Park (Pass by)
Wooded area with ancient Roman ruins, a chapel, scenic river views & various seasonal festivals.
Kronenburgerpark (Pass by)
Where the park touches the Parkweg are the remains of the medieval walls with the Kruittoren.
De Waagh (Pass by)
We are not exaggerating when we say that the Waagh is the most beautiful building in Nijmegen.
Petrus Canisiuskerk (Pass by)
It is situated on Molenstraat in the centre of the city. It is run by the Society of Jesus.
Marienburgkapel (Pass by)
The Marienburg Chapel was built around 1430 as part of a monastery complex, just outside the walls of the city.

Nijmegen Town Hall is the historic town hall of the Dutch city of Nijmegen.
Sint Stevenskerkhof 2 (Pass by)
The oldest school building in Nijmegen is the Latin school. It was built in the years 1544-1545 by Herman van Herengrave.
