Overview

It's not a bar route or a technical tasting. It is an urban promenade with gastronomic stops, designed to understand Malaga from within, walking and testing.

The experience combines history, area and local product: we walk through the historic centre and enter bars with identity, such as the Old Guard House, where wine is served as usual, without tourist scenery.

It includes 3 minimum stops, 3 drinks and 3 tapas per person, selected to show real contrasts: traditional wine, savoury and sweet flavours, and places that Malaga continues to use today.

The pace is calm, the group reduced and the focus personal. It’s not about “seeing a lot,” but understanding what you’re trying and why you’re there. Ideal for curious travellers who want something authentic, simple and well told.

During the tour you will see its walls, towers and defensive system from different outside points. It explains its military function, its relationship with Gibralfaro Castle and its importance in the history of the city. You don’t enter the complex; the approach is architectural, historical and landscaped from the outside. Outside visit. Unplanned entry.

Mercado Central de Atarazanas

  • 10m
The Atarazanas Market is one of the most representative buildings of everyday Malaga. From the outside you can see the old Nasrid door, the metal structure of the 19th century and the large rear stained glass window. It explains the origin of the place as a medieval shipyard and its transformation into a market. There is no indoor visit or stops inside the building; observation and explanations are exclusively external. Outside visit.

Malaga Cathedral

  • 15m
The Cathedral of the Incarnation, known as “La Manquita”, is the main religious building of the city. During the visit, its facade, the different phases of construction and the famous unfinished tower are analysed. It explains its urban and symbolic role within the historic centre. The interior of the cathedral is not accessible; the tour is limited to the exterior, with historical context and recommendations for a subsequent independent visit. Outside visit. Unplanned entry.

You do not enter shops or buildings; the visit is an outside observation while walking along the street.

Teatro Romano

  • 10m
The Roman Theatre, built in the 1st century BC, is located at the foot of the Alcazaba. From the outside the stands, the scene and its integration with later constructions are observed. It explains its discovery, its function in Roman times and its reuse over the centuries. The interior of the archaeological site is not accessible; the visit is only from the outer perimeter. Outside visit. Unplanned entry.
