This enormous structure was built in the late 1790s to display the King's filial piety towards his deceased father and to showcase a new pioneer city with its own economic power. Then, make your way to the Korean Folk Village, where you can wander around the 260 traditional houses reminiscent of the late Joseon Dynasty.
