Description

Head into the heart of Bangkok with a private guide as you explore the temples and royal buildings scattered around the Grand Palace. Learn about the extravagant construction of Buddhist places of worship, and get an insiders look around the city's bustling centre.

Get picked up from your hotel in a private vehicle and spend the first part of your tour listening to your guide share insight about Bangkok's most notable landmarks. After a short drive, park outside the grounds of the Grand Palace and head inside to visit your first temple of the day.

See the carved, emerald statue of the Buddha in a traditional pose in the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, admire the gilded interior that surrounds the statue on all sides, and then continue on to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha to see Thailand's largest collection of Buddha images. If you're lucky, you may even get to peek inside the Coronation Hall or Royal Funeral Hall before you wrap up your private excursion with convenient drop-off back at your hotel.

Very impressive experience. This was our second time to Bangkok but was unable to visit frist time due to the passing of the King. Tiny our hoast was very helpful with the history of Thailand and was very accomodating with taking many photos of us. Highly recomnended tour.

Nice to have a tour guide and car to show you around the temples! The explanations were very fast and felt pre-recorded a little bit. The gem shop also felt a bit like a tourist trap though the gems were pretty

The tour guide was not available for our original date and so the company asked if we wanted to reschedule for the following day. We had to rearrange a number of pre-booked plans on our itinerary to fit this in. However, we should have just cancelled the tour from there. Our tour guide repeated the same memorized pieces of information over and over again at the different temples. Toward the middle of the excursion, he told us that we would be going to a jewelry store and suit/tailor store after the second temple. Knowing that this was a scam/tactic that some of the tuk tuk drivers use on uninformed tourists, we quickly declined and had the driver take us back to our hotel immediately. We felt scammed and that we definitely did not get what we paid for, especially at such a steep price.
