Walking up the mountainside, you’ll discover the Temple of Apollo, the god of music, harmony, light and healing, which is supported by a huge retaining wall built from limestone polygonal masonry, known as the Ischegaon (“that which retains the earth”), and boasts around 800 visible inscriptions.
