What you can expect

  • The Best of Swan Lake performance features the music of Tchaikovsky with the entire storey told in a selection of scenes from one of the world’s most beloved ballets. Little is known about the original production of Swan Lake. Much of the Swan Lake we know today is from a revision in 1895 by the famous choreographers Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov.

    The performance covers the complete storey of the original ballet in selected scenes and is performed by top dancers and Prague National Theatre soloists. Music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

    The Broadway Theatre is a modern three-storey theatre which was built from a former cinema in the basement under the Broadway arcade of the palace of the same name between Na Prikope and Celetna streets. One of the largest functionalist new buildings in Prague's Old Town, it was built on the site of older houses in 1936-1938, designed by Bohumir Kozak (1885-1978) and Antonin Cerny (1896-1976).
