What you can expect

  • Choco-Story Prague is a small chocolate museum in a historic building on Celetná street, a few steps from Old Town Square. The visit is self-guided and most visitors spend around 30 minutes inside.

    Walk through rooms that tell the storey of chocolate: how the Maya and Aztecs grew and drank cocoa, how it arrived in Europe, and how cocoa beans become the chocolate we eat today. Panels, illustrations and short videos explain each step, and an audio commentary plays in each room in several languages.

    At the end of the visit, taste a selection of chocolates with different cocoa percentages and discover how the flavour changes. The shop is right next to the tasting area if you want to take some home.

    Please note: this is a short, self-guided visit, not a guided tour or a hands-on activity. If you would like to make your own chocolate, book the Choco-Story ticket with workshop instead.
