Discover the tradition of Portuguese tiles in a creative and hands-on workshop in Porto, guided by professional artists and teachers with years of experience in tile painting. The session begins with a brief and engaging introduction to the history of Portuguese azulejos (tiles), their origins, and their lasting role in shaping the architectural and cultural identity of Porto and Lisbon over the centuries. You’ll receive a white ceramic tile and can choose from an exclusive selection of traditional tile patterns carefully selected and documented by our team directly from the streets of Porto, which you can replicate, or create your own original design. Your instructor will guide you throughout the painting process, making it accessible for beginners and enjoyable for all ages. Throughout the workshop, enjoy Port wine, juice, water, coffee, and a selection of sweet and savoury snacks, while relaxing, socialising, and painting. After the session, you take your hand-painted souvenir of your time in Portugal. This activity is ideal for all occasions: solo travellers, families, bachelor and hen nights, team-building events, or simply enjoying time with friends.
