Step into the Douro Valley, the world's first demarcated wine region and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a full-day experience that combines wine, local food, and unforgettable scenery.
We leave Porto in the morning and head towards the valley, following a scenic route with panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Douro River and its famous terraced vineyards.
If you choose the 2 Wineries option, our first stop is a small family-run winery. Meet the winemaker, learn about the estate, and enjoy a tasting of Douro wines, local olive oil, and regional products.
We then continue to Pinhão, one of the most charming villages in the Douro Valley. Here you'll enjoy a 1-hour traditional rabelo boat cruise along the river, offering a unique perspective of the vineyards and surrounding landscape.
If you choose the 1 Winery option, Pinhão is your first stop before visiting the winery.
After the cruise, we drive along part of the famous N222, known for its spectacular views, before arriving at a second family-owned winery.
A traditional farm lunch is served at the estate, with each course paired with the winery's own wines. After lunch, you'll visit the vineyards and cellar to learn about the winemaking process, the family's history, and the traditions that make the Douro so special.
In the afternoon, we return to Porto, arriving at around 6:00 PM.
Whether you choose to visit 1 or 2 wineries, this experience offers the perfect balance of wine, local gastronomy, stunning landscapes, and authentic Douro hospitality.
