What you can expect

Pan for real gems and fossils from all over the world on a 116-foot-long gem mine, complete with three series of waterfalls at the Port Clinton location.

Choose your bag of mining rough, place part of the rough from the bag in a screened bottom box, and dip the box in the sluice. Watch the gemstones appear as the soil washes away.

Choose from seven different bags of mining rough, each containing a guaranteed amount of real treasure to be found. Each purchase of mining rough includes a take-home collection bag and a fossil or gem ID card.
