Join your local nature guide for an easy and inspiring walk through the forests and seaside trails of Hietasaari Island. This area is home to many bird species, foxes, hares, and other Finnish wildlife.

Along the way, you’ll hear stories about local nature, the changing seasons, and the connection between people and the northern environment.

Depending on the time of year, you might see animal tracks in snow, Arctic spring, blooming wildflowers in summer, or colourful autumn leaves.

We’ll take short breaks to observe wildlife, listen to birds, and enjoy the calm atmosphere of nature close to the city.

Level: Easy – suitable for all with basic fitness

Arrival: By city bus no. 15 (final stop – we will wait for you there)

What We’ll Explore:

Enjoy a relaxing 3–6 km walk through beautiful Arctic surroundings, lasting approximately 3–4 hours.

At the end of the tour, we can visit the cosy Nallikari Restaurant for warm coffee, tea, and relaxed conversation by the sea.

Each tour is a little different, shaped by the rhythm of nature and what it chooses to reveal to us on that day.
