Begin your tour at the Basilica Antica, where you can admire the Baroque and Rococo architectural styles. See the statue of the Black Madonna, which has been venerated since medieval times.

Next, explore the Basilica Superiore, with its impressive dome completed in 1960. Inside, discover the “Presepi e Diorami” collection, featuring around 50 nativity scenes from around the world.

Return to the cloister to see the ex-voto galleries, which are unique to the sanctuary. These galleries feature paintings depicting miracles attributed to the Madonna over the centuries.

In the morning, enjoy a hot drink and a Mucroncino, a typical Oropa dessert, at a bar within the sanctuary.
