In half a day, you'll explore the American D-Day memorial sites in the Omaha Beach sector. Start your exploration at Pointe du Hoc, a German gun battery taken by US Rangers on the morning of June 6, 1944, before continuing on to Omaha Beach. Your first stop will be at Vierville-sur-Mer, where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the assault by the US 29th Infantry Division on D-Day. You will then continue your journey to Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer to relive the arrival of the first assault waves of the 1st US Infantry Division against the German defenders.
