What you can expect

  • MAD is the Museum of Arts and Design, a fresh, creative alternative to NYC’s mainstream art destinations. Discover innovative art and design and meet NYC makers working on site. Located on Columbus Circle, MAD is just steps from Central Park and a short walk to Times Square.

    Know Before You Go:
    • Admission Hours: Ticket holders may enter the Museum anytime during open hours. The Museum is open from 10 AM – 6 PM on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Wednesday hours are from 12 PM – 8 PM. MAD is closed on Mondays.
    • A few times during the year, MAD closes certain galleries to the general public to install new exhibitions or for special events. Please visit madmuseum.org to explore what’s on view.
    • Free Admission for Kids: Children under 12 get in free with a paying adult.
