Your late-afternoon adventure begins on the Knysna Lagoon, where you’ll settle in aboard LaraBella and cruise past Leisure Isle and the Featherbed Nature Reserve towards the iconic Knysna Heads.

As conditions allow, LaraBella sails through the Heads and into the Indian Ocean, giving you the chance to experience the thrill of authentic sailing along the Knysna coastline. Feel the wind in the sails, breathe in the fresh ocean air and take in panoramic views of one of South Africa’s most beautiful coastal landscapes.

As the afternoon progresses, the cruise returns towards the sheltered waters of the lagoon, where the real magic of sunset begins. Watch the last light spread across the water and illuminate the Outeniqua Mountains as the sky shifts through warm shades of gold, pink and amber.

To complement the setting, enjoy a complimentary glass of MCC bubbles upon boarding before settling in for LaraBella’s famous Captain’s Braai. Enjoy flame-seared fillet steak served with delicious sides while taking in the changing colours of the evening.

Keep your eyes on the water throughout the cruise. Knysna’s lagoon and coastline are home to an abundance of bird and marine life, and dolphins, Cape fur seals and seasonal whales are sometimes spotted along the way. Wildlife sightings are naturally not guaranteed.
