Northern Lights Tour
Hov is located on the edge of Gimsoya island, with almost no light pollution and an open clear view to the North. This makes it one of the best spots to hunt for the Northern Lights.
We start our ride from the stables and head towards the arctic beach, we can hear the ocean on our right and start looking up searching for the lights. After a gentle climb we have more open views towards the north, we will then circle back down across the beach and past some important Viking landmark before heading home.
This tour does not require any experience, and everyone is more than welcome to join. Northern lights tour is slow-paced, so if you have experience and are looking for something more advanced, look at our longer tour options. This tour cannot be adapted for more experienced riders.
We provide helmets, warm clothes, rain gear, boots, and gloves. We put safety first, and if the weather conditions are unsafe, we will have to reschedule.
Customer cancellation:

Can cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund
Receives a full refund at any time if cancellation is due to force majeure
Supply partner cancellation:

Must provide a full refund if the activity’s cancelled for any reason, no matter the time frame
Must offer a full refund if the customer doesn’t accept changes to the itinerary
Cannot offer only rescheduling instead of a refund, or set their own refund policies
