Know before you book

  • This is an adventure. Ocean conditions can vary and may turn rough at times. It may not be suitable for some folks (all physically challenged individuals are subject to captain's discretion).
  • Not recommended for individuals who have/had back problems, recent injuries or surgeries, or suffer from severe motion sickness (no refunds are given for seasickness). Seasickness is best prevented with an over-the-counter remedy.
  • Full-face snorkel masks are prohibited. Only traditional two-piece masks and snorkels may be used. For safety, please avoid snorkelling within 24 hours after arriving from a flight over 5 hours
  • Children must be 5 years or older and no expectant mothers.
  • All tour routes and destinations are subject to change without notice. Ocean conditions can and will sometimes turn rough. Snorkelling depends on ocean conditions.
  • Cancelled tours by Holo Holo Charters are fully refundable or gladly rescheduled.
  • "No shows" or any cancellation within 24-hours of check-in time is subject to full charge of the total fare including tax.
  • We are not responsible for lost, damaged or stollen items.

What you can expect

Holo Holo Charters has been offering offshore Kauai + Niihau boat tours since 1997, longer than any other Kauai boat tour company. Holoholo is Kauai's fastest tour vessel. At 65', this agile power cat is long and wide enough to give you a swift, stable, and adventurous ride. This catamaran is equipped with everything to ensure you have a comfortable trip with a full-service galley and marine lavatories.

The Napali coastline is filled with lush valleys, waterfalls, lava tubes, and sea caves. Lehua Crater off Niihau offers some of the best snorkelling in the state with over 100ft of visibility.

Niihau + Napali Morning Tour: After some sightseeing along the Napali Coast, we’ll find the best place to hang out, typically between Lehua Crater and the island of Niihau—Hawaii’s mysterious “Forbidden Island” that’s home to a private colony of Native Hawaiians that live there, off the grid. It’s illegal to go ashore at Niihau, however, it’s a fantastic place to anchor respectfully offshore for snorkelling and lunch!

After snorkelling, enjoy a gourmet deli-style meal with pasta and an assortment of fresh veggies. Bask in the warm Hawaiian sun or take relief in the shaded cabin equipped with tables and chairs for you to relax in comfort.

Napali Sunset Dinner Tour: Experience the awesomeness of a sunset on the water and the Napali Coast, while enjoying quality food and local drinks. While cruising aboard our power catamaran, enjoy tasty starters and Hawaiian-style dinner while you watch the sky change colours. Admire the view and enjoy refreshing island juices, soft drinks, beer, wine, or locally made mai tais, and then sip champagne at sunset before you cruise back to Port Allen.

Chances are we’ll see some ocean wildlife while we’re out there; Hawaiian spinner dolphins, flying fish, green sea turtles, and pelagic sea birds are commonly seen on our Kauai sunset tours, year-round! And from December through April– it’s whale season! With dinner, dessert, and drinks included, the Napali Sunset Cruise offers a lot of value and will leave you smiling from ear to ear.
