During the DSD, you’ll learn the basics of scuba diving, including how to use the equipment, key safety protocols, and essential skills like equalising and breathing underwater. Our professional instructors will guide you through every step, ensuring your comfort and safety. You'll start with a brief introduction, followed by a controlled practice session in shallow water, before heading out to explore a real dive site.

The Maldives offers some of the world’s best diving locations, with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. You’ll have the chance to see tropical fish, colourful coral reefs, and maybe even some larger marine creatures like rays or turtles.

Whether you’re on holiday or simply curious about diving, the Discover Scuba Diving programme is the perfect way to experience this thrilling activity without the commitment of a full certification course.
