What you can expect

  • Discover the traditional Japanese art of Kintsugi at this unique workshop, where you will learn to repair broken ceramics by enhancing them with gold powder. Much more than just a restoration technique, Kintsugi is a Japanese philosophy that celebrates imperfections and transforms cracks into elements of beauty.

During this workshop, you will be guided step by step to understand the essential stages: preparing the pieces, assembling them, applying the repair materials, and the decorative finish.

Suitable for beginners, this experience is ideal for anyone who wants to discover a calming, creative and meaningful Japanese art form.

If you have an item you would like to repair, you should plan on 4 sessions, at least one week apart. You should allow 3 weeks between the first and second sessions, and then one week between each subsequent session. If you don't have a specific item to repair, sign up for a date that suits you, and you'll repair a small chip on a small plate that you can take home with you!
