We will learn about the history of Lorca through its monuments and the city's most iconic figures who have left their mark over time. We will begin at the Convento de la Merced, representing the Middle Ages, and end at the Huerto Ruano, representing the contemporary era. We will pass through the historic and artistic complex of the Plaza de España, which has witnessed the city's transformation and remains its heart to this day. We will also visit the Guevara Palace and learn about its founder, Don Juan de Guevara, where we will witness the beginnings of the Baroque period in the city of Lorca.
