Discover the highlights of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on a comfortable and well-paced tour that combines history, nature and free time by the sea.
The tour begins in Vegueta, the historic heart of the city and the oldest district of Las Palmas. Walk through its charming cobbled streets, surrounded by colonial architecture and emblematic buildings, and experience the origins of the island’s capital.
Next, we head to the Bandama Crater, one of the most impressive volcanic landscapes in Gran Canaria. We will stop at a viewpoint for photos, offering spectacular panoramic views of this natural volcanic formation.
We then visit the Canary Islands Botanical Garden, the largest botanical garden in Spain, where you can discover the rich variety of endemic plant species of the archipelago. If the Botanical Garden is closed, the visit will be replaced by Parque Doramas, a traditional and beautifully landscaped park in the city.
To finish the tour, you will enjoy free time in the area of Las Canteras Beach and the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium. Relax on one of Europe’s best urban beaches, take a walk along the promenade, swim in the Atlantic or enjoy the wide selection of cafés and restaurants nearby.
This tour is ideal for travellers who want to experience the essence of Las Palmas in one day, combining culture, volcanic scenery and coastal atmosphere.
*Note: on Saturdays there is NO pick-up in the town of Mogán, so you will need to make your own way to Parque Tropical.
