The loop hike around Monte Penna will take you to the Bosco delle Fate, one of the most colourful areas, rich in life and legends, in the Foreste Casentinesi National Park. It will be like entering a fantastic tale among cliffs, centuries-old beech forests, evocative caves, and landscapes that look like natural cathedrals.

Starting from Chiusi della Verna, you will cross La Beccia, an ancient medieval pilgrim route, until you reach the Franciscan Sanctuary. Along the route, you'll admire the Sasso Spicco, the cliff that supports the Sanctuary, the Ghiacciaia, and a forest that changes its appearance with every step. The experience is enriched by stories of local legends, unique views, and the chance to see the tallest tree in Italy.
