What you can expect

Experience the power of Japanese taiko drumming in Kanazawa.

Learn how to play the traditional Japanese drum (taiko) with professional performers who are actively performing on stage.

First, enjoy a powerful live performance by your instructor. Then join them for a fun and energetic taiko lesson where you’ll learn basic rhythms and techniques.

Taiko drumming is not only exciting but also a great full-body workout. Many travellers say it’s a refreshing way to release stress and re-energize during their trip.

We will also take photos during the lesson so you can keep great memories of your experience.

The activity is conducted in English with an interpreter, so beginners are very welcome.

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity, as taiko drumming involves full-body movement.
