09:40–11:10｜Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine (90 mins)
Free time to explore the shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning.

11:50–12:30｜Nyoirinji Temple (40 mins)
Enjoy the sound of wind chimes. Each costs JPY 500 to write wishes (displayed June 1–Sept 30, not for taking home).

14:00–16:20｜Yufuin (140 mins)
Free time at this popular town. Lunch at own expense. Optional: Yufuin-no-Mori Train (134 mins, own expense, ends at Hakata Station). Departs 15:56 or 17:17. Booking deadline 3 days prior; availability limited.

  • Each guest may bring one piece of luggage for free. Extra luggage will be charged 2,000 yen per item—please let us know in advance.
  • Children aged 0–2 can join for free if they do not require a seat. Children 3 years and older will be charged the adult fare.
  • If you bring a child (0–2 years) without informing us, boarding may be denied if the vehicle is full, and no refunds will be given.
  • For groups of 1–13 people, a driver-guide will be provided. For groups larger than 13, you will have both a driver and a separate guide.

What you can expect

Enjoy a delightful one-day tour in Fukuoka, starting at 08:50 AM at Lawson Hakata Station Chikushiguchi Store, located in front of the Oriental Hotel Fukuoka. The tour departs promptly at 09:00 AM, so please arrive on time. Your first stop is Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, dedicated to the god of learning, where you'll have 90 minutes of free time to explore the historic grounds and charming surroundings. Next, visit Nyoirinji Temple, famous for its hundreds of colourful wind chimes that carry visitors' wishes—write your own wish on a chime for 500 yen (note: chimes remain at the temple and are displayed from June 1 to September 30). In the afternoon, enjoy 140 minutes of free time in Yufuin, a picturesque town known for its local shops, scenic streets, and relaxing atmosphere—lunch is at your own expense. If you wish, you may return to Hakata Station via the scenic Yufuin no Mori sightseeing train (additional cost, advance booking required at least 3 days prior). The tour concludes at around 6:00 PM at Hakata Station.
