What you can expect

  • Weaving through the heart of Hue in Vietnam’s Thua Thien Hue province, the Perfume River earns its name well. At 80 kilometres long, it winds through fragrant forests, picking up a pure, fresh scent before gracing the city.

    Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Hue city. Then transfer to the boat station. From there board a dragon boat and cruise along the poetic Perfume River. The tour will take about 45 mins.

Along the way, we will stop to visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, a symbol of Hue. The pagoda is home to the Phuoc Duyen Tower, a seven-story structure that is a famous landmark. Inside the pagoda, you can also see the Dai Hong Chung Bell, the Dai Hung shrine, the main hall, the car left by the Superior Buddhist Monk Thich Quang Duc in 1963.

See the Minh Mang Tomb, a perfect combination of man-made and natural beauty. The tomb was built in 1840 under the order of King Minh Mang and is considered to be the most beautiful and majestic tomb of the Nguyen dynasty. The tomb is located in a lush forest setting and features stunning architecture.

Move on to the Khai Dinh Tomb, the mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh, the twelfth emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam, located on the Chau Chu mountain, and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Visit Thuy Xuan incense village. This is where you can learn about the incense-making process, experience making incense with the people, as well as check in with the beautiful colourful space.

    Returning to your hotel.
