Overview

  • Discover three coastal gems on a Hondarribia, San Juan, and San Pedro tour from San Sebastian, blending border history, Atlantic scenery, and seafaring charm in just a few hours.

Begin in Hondarribia, where the walled town and La Marina district showcase historic elegance and colourful balconies, while your guide shares maritime anecdotes and local tips.

Climb Mount Jaizkibel for panoramic Basque coastline views, then continue to the Bay of Pasaia, visiting San Juan (Pasai Donibane) and San Pedro with stone houses, narrow lanes, and grill-fish taverns. Follow in Victor Hugo’s footsteps and, weather permitting, cross the estuary by boat for perfect photo opportunities.

This day trip from San Sebastian brings together heritage, viewpoints, and maritime life, returning you to Donostia / San Sebastian with the salt of the Cantabrian Sea still on your skin and a handful of Atlantic stories to take home.
