The mantle of Sint Maarten It is January 27, 1517, and it is freezing hard in Sneek. The city is threatened by a troop led by Floris van Egmont. As the water around the city turns more and more into ice, the enemy can easily enter the city. In the city, there is a rare relic, claimed to bring prosperity to the city and its inhabitants. It is a piece of the mantle of Sint Maarten, kept in the Grote or Martinikerk in the middle of the city. The mantle must not, at any cost, fall into the hands of the enemy! A secret society is chosen with the mission to quickly smuggle the mantle out of the city. In this walking tour, time is of the essence as the enemy stands at the gates of the city. As you solve puzzles, you will pass by beautiful historical places and get to know the city and its former residents.
