Ephesus (2 Hours): Step into history at Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities. Walk its ancient streets, still marked by chariot wheels, and visit landmarks like the Great Theatre, seating over 20,000 people, the Public Agora, where St. Paul preached, and Marble Street, leading to the Celsus Library, the third-largest library of the ancient world. Explore architectural marvels such as the Temple of Hadrian, Trajan Fountain, Domitian Temple, and the Odeon, a venue for music and performances.
House of the Virgin Mary (1 Hour): Visit this sacred Christian pilgrimage site, believed to be where Mary spent her final days. According to tradition, Apostle John brought her to Ephesus after the Resurrection of Christ. The church, built on her home’s foundation, has been affirmed by visits from three popes, whose gifts underscore its spiritual significance.
Temple of Artemis (30 Minutes): One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis stood as a monumental tribute to Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and moon. Built around 650 BC, this marvel highlighted ancient architectural innovation.
At the end of your tour, we’ll ensure your timely return to Kuşadası Cruise Port well before your ship departs. Our guides will share local insights, safety tips, and recommendations for traditional handicrafts, enriching your experience.
