Activity itinerary

Upon arrival at Caldermeade Farm, please check in with our Café staff and present your booking confirmation. Our team will welcome you and escort you to the Highland cow enclosure. Meet our beautiful Highland cows in a relaxed, small-group setting, with a maximum of just 6 guests per session. Learn a little about these gentle animals, their personalities and how they're cared for on our family-owned working dairy farm. You'll have the opportunity to gently brush, pat and cuddle the cows, while our farm team guides the experience and ensures the comfort and wellbeing of both guests and animals. Feed and brushes are provided for you to use during the session. Don't forget your camera! There'll be plenty of time to capture memorable photos and selfies using your own device. After your experience, you're welcome to continue exploring Caldermeade Farm. Visit our free Animal Nursery, home to our resident Highland cattle Bonnie & Dougal, along with Jersey calves, goats, alpacas, deer etc. You can also enjoy our daily dairy milking viewing from 2:30 PM, relax in the gardens and playground, browse the Farm Shop, or enjoy a meal or coffee at the Farm Café.
