What you can expect

  • This scenic small-group tour is the perfect way to spend an evening in Halifax. It features a visit to Peggy’s Cove to watch the sunset against the backdrop of the famous lighthouse, dinner at a local restaurant and a narrated driving tour through city centre Halifax.

Your tour begins with a scenic, narrated drive to Peggy’s Cove.
You will arrive in Peggy’s Cove just in time to watch the sunset with the famous Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse) overlooking the Atlantic Ocean as your backdrop.

Afterwards, you’ll head to the Sou'wester Restaurant, a local favourite in the area, for dinner. The Sou'wester is known for its fresh, locally-sourced food and casual atmosphere.

After dinner your guide will bring you back to city centre Halifax for a scenic, narrated driving tour through the city. You will pass multiple points of interest including the Titanic cemetery (Fairview Lawn Cemetery), Pier 21, Halifax Farmers Market and Point Pleasant Park.
